Why is the hellcat splash not recommended for 5.7 vehicles?

Big pain in the arse when you want to remove the air filter from the air box you have to disconnect the hose housing and then remove it before you can remove the air filter… Really isn’t worth the extra money when compared to other options available… Granted the sealed box is great if you’re in a dusty climate (off roading) but on the street or drag racing, this system makes little sense to me… The entire system needs to be disconnected before and the box has to come out to remove or change the filter is a big deal for me… Also haven’t seen anyone connect a front facing hose to the blocked inlet inside the headlights, this is where this particular system is designed to connect hence why there is a hole cut out in the front of the box as well as at the bottom which looks like it’s too short and won’t seat flush to the bottom where the air is pulled from…

I get a lighting symbol for a second on start up but it doesn’t stay on…..should I be worried? Runs good as hell tho, it response faster is about it and I’m sure gas might be better but we’ll see but that pedal definitely reacts faster now

Just installed mine to a 2018 Challenger Hellcat and to be honest I was expecting it to be a bit smoother than factory but it is tight and very clunky . Hoping it will free up with some use .
